How Safe is Restylane®? Restylane® has been in use by cosmetic surgeons since 1996 – “worldwide.” There is virtually no risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reaction because it is completely bio-compatible with our bodies own substance. No allergy testing is required and Restylane® is FDA approved.
